Overview
MarkFormat provides browser-based and server-assisted document conversion tools for Markdown, DOCX, CSV, and HTML workflows. This policy describes what information may be processed when you use the site.
Content you convert
When you use a conversion or import tool, the content you paste or upload is sent to MarkFormat's server solely to generate the requested result. Standard conversion and import requests are processed in memory, and MarkFormat does not intentionally write that submitted content to persistent storage.
Hosting and infrastructure providers may retain ordinary technical request logs. If a feature explicitly says that it saves a document, using that feature stores the content. Do not submit passwords, confidential credentials, payment details, or highly sensitive personal information.
Analytics
MarkFormat may use Google Analytics to understand basic site usage, such as page views, device type, approximate location, and traffic sources. This helps improve the tool and decide which formats to support.
Contact information
If you contact MarkFormat, the information you provide may be used to respond to your message and improve the product. We do not sell personal contact information.
Third-party services
The site may rely on hosting, analytics, domain, and infrastructure providers to operate the service. Those providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request logs.
